Arc'teryx

The outdoor clothing and sporting goods company Arc'teryx was founded in Vancouver, Canada, in 1989. The Arc'teryx name and logo refer to the Archaeopteryx, the earliest known bird. Besides the outdoor and sportswear clothing line, Arc'teryx has also developed a separate line of products specifically for military and law enforcement markets. All equipment is made of high-quality materials to ensure durability.

Arc'teryx in fashion

Arc'teryx has maneuvered into the fashion scene in recent times and many big names have been pictured in jackets, beanies, and other Arc'teryx items. Drake and Virgil Abloh were pictured together, wearing an Arc'teryx jacket and Frank Ocean was seen wearing a beanie made by the outdoor brand. Bella and Gigi Hadid were spotted wearing an experimental Arc'teryx dress during Virgil Abloh's Off-White Fall/Winter '20 fashion show and legendary skateboarder and acter Harold Hunter was also pictured in an Arc'teryx jacket. The combination of functionality, quality, and aesthetics has definitely been noted by the fashion world and Arc'teryx is here to stay.

GORE-TEX® in Arc'teryx

Many Arc'teryx products are equipped with innovative GORE-TEX® technology. The Thorsen Parka and Beta SL Hybrid jacket are some prime examples. GORE-TEX® is a wind- and water-resistant, breathable membrane that's made of recycled material. It keeps you warm and dry, even in bad weather. No moisture comes in, but due to little holes in the membrane, perspiration ventilates out of the fabric. Products with GORE-TEX® technology guarantee durability and top quality.
