Taschen pop-up

In 1980 18-year-old Benedikt Taschen founded TASCHEN COMICS, a store that was centered around collecting and selling exclusive comics. In the same year the first TASCHEN COMIC, Sally Forth was published. In the years that followed, the focus shifted from selling comic books to art books, and under the leadership of Ingo F. Walter, the first basic art series book Picasso got released in 1985. From this point onwards TASCHEN continued with the basic art series and expanded their collection by collaborating with artists, architects, and photographers, resulting in a wide variety of books.

Together with TASCHEN, Baskèts curated a book collection. This collection promises to be healthy for both your mind and soul. With these books, we want to provide everyone with the knowledge and insight that can be used to broaden their perspective. It might inspire you to create something meaningful, something worth looking at, or something worth remembering. Additionally, the collection consists of books from various disciplines such as art, architecture, fashion & design, and photography, making sure there will be at least one book to catch your eyes.

The pop-up store is opened until the 13th of December and is situated next to our store. So, pay a visit before it’s too late or take a look at the TASCHEN books on our website.

Location: Elandsgracht 55 H Amsterdam.
