The latest Calvin Klein Jeans collection, includes Monologo Mineral Dyed statements. Highlighting styles in the colours beige and shitake that are showing the classic Calvin Klein Jeans logo on the chest. Perfect to combine with other items from the brand. In honour of the new lineup, we've partnered up with artist Kat Klerks to create 10 customised Calvin Klein Jeans tees in her signature style. 

Kat Klerks
Before Kat was an artist, she worked at Baskèts for many years. Kat has lived in the Jordaan for over 10 years. Her atelier is located in the Hazenstraat, around the corner of the first Baskèts store. Kat started making art six years ago after searching for what her art form would be. Taking inspiration in the Japanese philosophy of Wabi Sabi, she created her own take on abstract art. Kat realises that the imperfections in her painting create sense and that she shouldn’t be constantly seeking for balance in imperfection. Her artworks are now hanging in various interiors in the Netherlands and abroad, gathering a large following all over the globe.

Tailors of Amsterdam
Kat took her artwork to Tailors of Amsterdam, where it got constructed on the Calvin Klein Jeans shirt. Owner of Tailors of Amsterdam, Atilla started making and sewing all kinds of clothing from a young age. His years of experience in the clothing industry, started in the 70’s in Turkey learning authentic craftsmanship. Now situated in the heart of Amsterdam he’s solving all clothing problems such as adding a zipper or tailoring some pants to size. Tailors of Amsterdam is located near our store at Elandsgracht, which makes the customisation all done by local entrepreneurs from the Jordaan which support each other.
